Top-100 LB Madden Faraimo schedules pair of Midwestern visits

San Diego Junipero Serra four-star linebacker Madden Faraimo will take a pair of visits to the Midwest later this month, he tells On3’s Chad Simmons.
Faraimo will visit Ohio State on April 12 and Notre Dame the day after on April 13.
On February 23, Faraimo named a top four of Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oregon and USC. Last month, he told On3 that he is also “keeping a good relationship” with Texas and Washington.
Faraimo is the nation’s No. 76 overall prospect, No. 9 linebacker and No. 5 recruit from California in the 2025 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking — a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
Faraimo talks Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oregon and USC
Notre Dame: “The respect that Notre Dame gains has them on my list. Great people go there and when they leave, they have a lot of respect given to them. It is a great school academically too and it would prepare me for life after football.”

Ohio State: “I talk to Coach James Laurinaitis a lot. He is my main recruiter and we have a good relationship. With Ohio State though, it has always been about how they play football. I love how they play, it is a big football school and they play big-time football.”
Oregon: “I like the way Oregon plays football. I like Coach Dan Lanning a lot and he has a defensive mindset. The staff is cool and I like Coach Tony Tuioti a lot. I can see a fit there.”
USC: “I am excited about the new defensive staff there. I think they can do a lot. It is a fresh start on the defensive side of the ball, but I have confidence in them. Coach Matt Entz is the coach I talk to, but I have met the whole new defensive staff and I like them a lot.”
