The UNLV Rebels and Learfield have announced that they are going to have a new jersey patch sponsor across multiple sports. Acesso Biologics will serve as the multi-sport jersey patch partner, with the patches set to appear on football, men’s & women’s basketball, and baseball uniforms for the next five seasons.

This comes ahead of the anticipated NCAA approval of corporate jersey patches. With that, UNLV and Learfield, who is the exclusive multimedia rights-holder for the athletic department, announced the partnership with Acesso Biologics.

The move is a historic one within the NCAA. Acesso Biologics is set to become the first official multi-sport corporate jersey patch and on-field logo partner in NCAA athletics.

“Having Acesso proudly displayed on our uniforms shows its continued support and commitment to UNLV Athletics and our student-athletes,” Erick Harper, UNLV Director of Athletics, said. “Acesso Biologics’ dedication to innovation and support of UNLV Athletics mirrors our goals of excellence and community impact. As the NCAA and Mountain West Conference move closer to allowing new avenues for revenue generation, Acesso stepped up in a big way.”

Based in Las Vegas, Acesso Biologics is considered a leader in regenerative medicine. The company also already served as an on-field sponsor for UNLV football this season. On top of that, Acesso Biologics participated in the “Sacks for Shoes” campaign. In that, for every sack, the company donated to the Goodie Two Shoes organization. Clearly, the relationship has been strong between the two sides, allowing for this new, five-year agreement.

“We’re honored to strengthen our partnership with the UNLV family and kick off a dynamic opportunity with UNLV Athletics,” Michael Aquino, CEO of Acesso Biologics, said. “As Las Vegas continues its rise as one of the nation’s elite sports cities, it’s a privilege for us to join Nevada’s premier collegiate athletics program. This is an exciting chapter for both UNLV and Acesso Biologics, and we view this partnership as the foundation for long-term collaboration and new opportunities. We’re proud to support a program rooted in innovation, excellence, and progress. UNLV is a driver of Nevada’s economic development and a place where student-athletes prepare for successful careers beyond sports. Together, we are committed to creating opportunities on the field, in the classroom, and throughout the community that help every student build a strong future. Go Rebels!”

Acesso Biologics is also expected to sponsor the South Field Goal Net at Allegiant Stadium. That will be a prominent spot where, again, the brand will be boosted during UNLV games.

“This long-term partnership reflects Acesso’s commitment to elevating the UNLV brand,” Dan Dolby, General Manager of UNLV Sports Properties, said. “As the first partnership in the country to place a partner logo on a collegiate uniform, paired with an on-field, it positions UNLV at the forefront of a new revenue era in college sports and highlights our shared focus on innovation, performance, and meaningful community impact—both on the field and in the healthcare space.”

Furthermore, UNLV is expected to help Acesso gain fan insights through Learfield’s Fanbase database. That database profiles fans nationwide. Through that, they hope to be able to further engage fans.

“We’re proud to partner with Acesso and UNLV in this transformative partnership that sets a new standard in college athletics in anticipation of jersey patch approvals by the NCAA,” Kim Damron, President of Learfield Sports Properties, said. “By prominently incorporating Acesso’s logo on the jerseys of UNLV’s football, men’s and women’s basketball and baseball teams, along with an on-field logo at Allegiant Stadium and other key assets, this cutting-edge partnership is the first of its kind to usher in the new era of jersey patch sponsorships in college sports.”

Notably, college teams are not yet allowed to wear corporate logo patches on their uniforms. However, it’s expected to be voted on in January 2026 as schools continually look for new ways to generate revenue. If approved, it would go into place on August 1, 2026. That’s in time for next football season.
