WR Terrance Saryon flips his commitment from Washington to BYU

Seattle
Vancouver (Wash.) Evergreen wide receiver Terrance Saryon committed to Jedd Fisch and Washington, the in-state school, back in November. Earlier this year, BYU entered the race with an offer, and over the last two months, the Cougars have pushed hard, and they have flipped the playmaker from the Huskies.
“I started thinking about making this flip after coach Fesi came to give me a home visit on April 28,” Saryon told On3. “One of the main reasons why I chose BYU was I felt like I fit in their scheme a little bit better. Another big deciding factor was when I was down there for an unofficial visit, I really felt at home and everything felt natural. Having a chance to make an immediate impact in coach Roderick’s offense was another thing that attracted me to BYU.”

This commitment is a little different for Saryon. The 5-foot-10, 150-pound three-star has changed his official visit to Washington, which was scheduled for June 20, to an official visit to BYU. He is excited about his future in Provo.
“BYU has only been recruiting me for about two months, but these 2 months have definitely been the hardest I’ve ever been recruited. When I was there, the vibe in Provo was really great. I love how welcoming everyone is, and it’s definitely somewhere I look forward to being.
“This is it for me. My commitment is 1000% to BYU. That is my home.”
