The Los Angeles Dodgers will feature USC quarterback and reigning Heisman Trophy winner Caleb Williams in a bobblehead giveaway Thursday during their home game against the Colorado Rockies. The promotional bobblehead will bear two aspects of Williams’ NIL rights – his name and likeness.

There will be 40,000 bobbleheads available.

In the bobblehead of Williams, he’s wearing his No. 13 USC jersey, along with an LA Dodgers hat, while showing the iconic Heisman pose. In the bobblehead featuring Williams’s likeness, the quarterback’s fingernails are painted in Dodgers colors.

Earlier in the summer, the Dodgers’ Twitter account announced their promotions for the second half of the season, which also include bobbleheads that bear the likenesses of Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James and a variety of Dodgers players.

The Dodgers’s bobblehead or jersey promotions often feature current or former players from the Major League Baseball franchise. The exceptions include major stars in sports or entertainment, such as Kobe Bryant or Elton John. And now it includes Williams, too.

Williams threw the ceremonial first pitch in early July at Dodger Stadium prior to a game between the Dodgers and Los Angeles Angels. In May, he did the same before a Washington Nationals’ game. Williams is from Washington, D.C.

His mother, Dayna Price, is scheduled to be involved in the ceremonial first pitch on Thursday night at Dodger Stadium.

After spending his freshman season at Oklahoma, Williams followed his coach Lincoln Riley to USC through the transfer portal.

Caleb Williams’s On3 NIL Valuation

Williams has an On3 NIL Valuation of $2.6 million, which ranks No. 2 among current college football players and ranks No. 4 in the On3 NIL 100.

The On3 NIL Valuation utilizes a proprietary algorithm to calculate a high school or college athlete’s projected annual value in the NIL landscape. It incorporates a Brand Value Index and Roster Value Index.

Brand Value Index factors in the role of regional and national sponsorships, while Roster Value Index takes into account the role of NIL collectives across the country.

Earlier in the offseason, Williams was in attendance for a fundraiser branded as “QB U” that the collective House of Victory held in collaboration with current and former USC quarterbacks.

The On3 NIL Valuation also uses three data points, including performance, influence and exposure.

Williams has roughly 300,000 social media followers across his Instagram, Twitter and TikTok accounts.

Williams, who threw for 4,537 yards and 42 touchdowns last season while rushing for 382 yards and 10 touchdowns, has partnered with a variety of national brands. He recently announced a partnership with United Airlines. Earlier in the offseason, he unveiled NIL deals with PlayStation, Neutrogena and Alo Yoga.

USC debuted at No. 6 in the preseason USA Today Coaches Poll.
