A Columbia bar has introduced an NIL deal which will feature South Carolina offensive linemen throughout the 2025 football season. CB18 Bar and Grill launched the “Cockblocker of the Week” campaign, with Trovon Baugh as the first winner.

Each week, the winner of the award will get 50 wings and a T-shirt, as well as a monetary reward through NIL. Baugh put together a standout performance on the offensive line in Week 1 as South Carolina came away with a victory over Virginia Tech in Atlanta to kick off the year. That earned him the first “Cockblocker of the Week” honor from CB18.

“We’re happy to support our OLineman ALL THIS SEASON with Weekly Winners!” CB18 wrote in a post on X, announcing the deal.

CB18 Bar and Grill opened in 2023 after a group, which included former Gamecocks quarterback Steve Taneyhill, bought Breakers Bar & Grill and Breakers Live in Five Points. CB18 went into Breakers Bar & Grill, while Breakers Live remained the same. Taneyhill wore No. 18 while playing for South Carolina.

Baugh was a freshman All-American at South Carolina in 2023 as he took on a starting role at guard late in the year. He then contributed largely on special teams before signing a new NIL deal with the Gamecocks-focused NIL collective, The Garnet Trust, which signaled his return in 2025.

After South Carolina’s win over Virginia Tech, head coach Shane Beamer praised the offensive line’s performance in the effort. When asked about shuffling in the second half, he noted Shed Sarratt was dealing with an injury. But the unit held strong while protecting LaNorris Sellers, who had a strong showing in Sunday’s season opener.

“I thought they were good,” Beamer said. “Shed Sarratt wasn’t here today. He was injured. He would have had a role in this game most likely. He’s been out for a couple of weeks. Thought we were going to be able to get him back. He wasn’t quite ready. Those guys did okay early on.

“Virginia Tech, we talked about how critical it was going to be in the first quarter just figuring out what their plan is. We had a thought it would be movement and trying to disrupt us up front, and they did a nice job taking away the run early. I thought those guys on the offensive line settled down. … We’ve got a solid – I wish we had more depth on the offensive line, but we’ve got a solid seven, eight guys in there now that we feel comfortable playing, and that was the plan, was to get all those guys in there as the game went.”
