Deuce Vaughn unveils Charlie Hustle ‘Deuce is Loose’ T-shirts through NIL deal
Kansas State All-American running back Deuce Vaughn continues to capitalize on his success through NIL deals.
Charlie Hustle – a Kansas City-based company that “preserves the old school using the T-shirt as an artistic canvas” – revealed on Tuesday a new shirt featuring Vaughn. It’s part of a NIL deal that partners the star running back with the company that made the KC heart T-shirts famous.
The lavender T-shirt showcases Vaughn’s image. It also includes the “Deuce is Loose” catchphrase that’s become synonymous with announcers calling K-State games. The shirts are $25 only on Tuesday and only available online.
Over two years, Vaughn has rushed for 2,048 yards at 5.7 yards per carry and added 74 catches for 902 yards as a receiver for the Wildcats. He scores a touchdown every 14 plays from scrimmage. Beyond the statistics, the 5-foot-5, 170-pounder is amazing in space, a terrifying pass catcher, and showed a significant improvement in durability in Year 2.
Those numbers earned Vaughn consensus All-American honors in 2021.
A product of Round Rock, Texas, Vaughn was named to the first team by the Associated Press and Sporting News. He was a second-team member by the AFCA. Additionally, Vaughn was named a second-team All-American by CBS Sports and USA TODAY. He was an honorable mention pick by Phil Steele.
Pro Football Focus has Vaughn listed on its 2022 Preseason All-American Team. He is also a preseason All-America pick by Phil Steele and others.
