Great Clips is calling in two notable college basketball stars to educate fans on the “Wrights” and “Wrongs” of March Madness.

Duke forward Kyle Filipowski and Kansas State guard Gabby Gregory are both partnering with the hair salon chain through NIL. Former Villanova coach Jay Wright headlines the campaign, and former Gonzaga star Damontis Sabonis – who currently plays for the Sacramento Kings – is also participating. Filipowski and Gregory both got haircuts at Great Clips ahead of the NCAA Tournament with videos coming out throughout the big dance.

As part of the “Wrights and Wrongs” campaign, fans can also have the chance to win 2025 Men’s or Women’s Final Four tickets.

“Winning during March Madness is all about doing the little things right. For fans, that starts with a confidence-boosting haircut from Great Clips before tipoff so they can look great cheering their favorite teams and players. And who better to help deliver the ‘Wright’ and ‘Wrong’ ways to enjoy March Madness than a national championship-winning coach like Jay Wright,” said Lisa Hake, vice president of marketing and communications at Great Clips, Inc., in a statement.

“We’re also excited to offer our customers and March Madness fans everywhere the chance to win an incredible trip and tickets to the Men’s or Women’s Final Four in 2025 through our industry-leading mobile app.”

Kyle Filipowski, Gabby Gregory prep for NCAA Tournament

The partnership with Great Clips is Gregory’s second major NIL deal after joining forces with Amazon Shop in January. She also has agreements with the K-State-focused NIL collectives Wildcat NIL and The Wildcats’ Den.

Gregory was a big piece of the Wildcats’ run to the Big 12 Tournament this season, where they lost to Texas. She ranks third on the team with 8.9 points per game to go with 3.6 rebounds and 3.5 assists. With a 25-7 record after the loss to Texas, ESPN’s Charlie Creme projects Kansas State as a No. 5 seed in his latest Bracketology.

As for Filipowski, his NIL portfolio has grown throughout the season after opting to come back to Duke. Last month, he landed deals with HEYDUDE Shoes and Snack Fanatics – the latter of which allowed him to release chips.

Duke fell to North Carolina to end the regular season and will enter this week’s ACC Tournament as the No. 2 seed. The Blue Devils take a 24-7 record into Washington, D.C. and will play their first game on Thursday after receiving a double bye.
