Former USC team captain, staffer Michael Hutchings expected to be hired by Minnesota Vikings

The Minnesota Vikings are expected to hire Western Kentucky outside linebackers coach Michael Hutchings as an assistant linebackers coach, sources tell On3.
Hutchings, a former USC linebacker and team captain, previously worked as an analyst at USC and Oregon.
Hutchings, who played at USC from 2013-16, originally got into coaching as a graduate assistant for the Trojans in 2018 before moving into an analyst role and then eventually the linebackers coach role in September 2021 after USC fired head coach Clay Helton and reshuffled its coaching staff.
