The first round of the 2025 NBA Draft has arrived with Cooper Flagg set to walk across the stage, marking the first opportunity to shift focus onto the next class of talented prospects ready to make the professional leap. From incoming freshmen to the group of players who returned to college this season, mixed with international talent, the future is bright.

There will be plenty of movement between now and the next draft day, but history has shown that many of the players currently considered the best in the country will remain at the top of the boards. That starts at the top, where a deep group of players is in contention for the No. 1 pick.

AJ Dybansta leads the way at BYU, with challenges sure to come from Kansas’ Darryn Peterson, Tennessee’s Nate Ament and Duke’s Cameron Boozer atop the draft board. Beyond that group, top international prospects Karim Lopez and Dash Daniels have plenty of value to add.

The 2026 NBA Draft class is considered one of the strongest in recent memory, with several prospects who will compete to be selected in the Top 10. Here is a way-too-early look at the top names to know.
