Florida defeated Kentucky last season with a convincing 48-20 in the Swamp. That came after Kentucky bested the Gators in three-straight seasons prior to that victory.

DJ Lagway completed seven passes for 259 yards yards while running back Jadan Baugh was responsible for five touchdowns on the ground for the Gators. The Wildcats struggled to find a rhythm against Florida offensively, scoring just two touchdowns during the contest on that side of the ball.

However, the Gators have largely dominated the all-time series with 54 wins compared to 21 losses. That includes 31 consecutive wins against Kentucky from 1986 to 2016. That hasn’t been the case over the past decade, though, with Florida has won six of the last 10 matchups in the series.

With a victory, Florida can start a new streak against the Wildcats, just in time for its new head coach to take over. Former head coach Billy Napier, who had a 1-3 record against the Wildcats, is no longer leading the program. A new headman will be leading the Gators against the Wildcats in 2026.
