Pensacola, Florida, is about to get ROWDY! Kyle Busch is making his return to the Snowball Derby at Five Flags Speedway this year. Busch is getting back in his Super Late Model and wants to not only make his return to the race, but also make his return to Victory Lane, too.

Kyle Busch won the 2009 and 2017 Snowball Derby races. The Snowball has attracted so many of the greatest drivers of all time, and put on epic races, too. Names like Donnie Allison, Darrell Waltrip, Chase Elliott, Erik Jones, John Hunter Nemechek, Noah Gragson, Ty Majeski, and more.

Last year, the Snowball Derby went to Kaden Honeycutt. Now, he’s tearing it up in the NASCAR Truck Series. This is a race to not only see the best stock car drivers in America, but also to see the future of stock car racing in America.

Check out Kyle and Brexton Busch coming together for this announcement. After all, gotta show the young guns how it’s done, right?

Winning a third Snowball Derby would put Kyle Busch into rare air. The last driver to become a three-time winner was Rich Bickle in 1996. Bickle went on to become a five-time champion, the most wins ever by a driver in the event. No one else has become a three-time winner since then.

Kyle Busch could be joined by more NASCAR talent

If we know anything about the Derby, Ty Majeski will be there. He is on a mission to win that third Snowball. Guys like Noah Gragson have taken to making this a yearly event as much as they can.

It would be awesome to see Chase Elliott or Erik Jones chase their third Snowball Derby wins as well. Heck, Carson Hocevar sounds like a driver who could pop up and compete as well. There are many young drivers who do whatever they can to compete in whatever races they can. The last few years have seen an influx, I think, of NASCAR talent in these grassroots races.

Kyle Busch has won just about everything there is to win. If he becomes a three-time Snowball Derby champion, it would be yet another accolade for Rowdy in his historic career.

The Snowball Derby takes place on December 3rd through the 7th. Lots of practice time and getting these cars dialed in. All of the action can be seen on FloRacing. You ready to get Rowdy?
