With <a href="https://www.on3.com/db/lamar-jackson-137145/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Lamar Jackson</a> listed as doubtful for Sunday’s game against the Steelers due to a knee injury, the Ravens have made room to add a quarterback to their roster. Baltimore has elevated rookie quarterback <a href="https://www.on3.com/db/anthony-brown-5926/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Anthony Brown</a> from the practice squad to the active roster, <a href="https://twitter.com/AdamSchefter/status/1601696152700694528" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter</a>.



An <a href="https://www.on3.com/teams/oregon-ducks/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Oregon</a> product, Brown signed with the Ravens as an undrafted free agent this offseason and has been on the practice squad since August. He has yet to appear in any games this season and will likely serve as the backup to <a href="https://www.on3.com/db/tyler-huntley-138313/">Tyler Huntley</a>. 



Lamar Jackson suffered the injury in the first quarter last week against the Broncos and never returned to the game. Huntley took over quarterback duties after Jackson’s exit against Denver and finished last week’s game 27-of-32 passing for 187 yards, no touchdowns and an interception.



Although Jackson did not practice this week and appears unlikely to play barring a significant change, Ravens coach John Harbaugh <a href="https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/lamar-jackson-injury-update-john-harbaugh-says-quarterback-is-week-to-week-with-knee-injury/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">said the quarterback is “week-to-week.”</a> With that being the case, he could be ready to return any time in the next few weeks. 



This will be the first game that Jackson has missed all season. It won’t be the first time that Huntley has filled in for him, as he also started four games with Jackson injured last season. In those games, Baltimore went 1-3 and Huntley threw for 772 yards, two touchdowns and four interceptions.



The final few weeks of the regular season will be vital in determining Baltimore’s playoff spot, so the Ravens will hope Jackson can make a speedy recovery. They are currently 8-4 and in first place in the AFC North, but the Bengals (8-4) are right behind them and can move into first if they win and Baltimore loses on Sunday.



Kickoff between the Ravens and Steelers is set for 1 p.m. ET on Sunday in Pittsburgh.
