Film Review Notes
Closing speed immediately jumps off the screen on his latest film. Has eye-popping burst and closes on the football. An explosive mover that detonates on contact. Fearless at the point of attack when taking on blockers. Tremendous physicality on contact. Sideline-to-sideline speed is very impressive. Very effective blitzer and free rusher, can bring relentless pressure to the quarterback. Love the effort and backside chase in pursuit. Runs after the ball carrier no matter where he is on the field. Need to see some improvement in his instincts and initial trigger to the ball. Takes him a bit to see what's going on as the play is deevloping, appears to be just a second behind when it comes to triggering to the football. Has some moments where hip stiffness becomes apparent in the open field. Not dramatically stiff, just has some moments where he's stuck in the mud in space. Would like to see more from him in coverage; has some ability to close to the ball in zone coverage, but want to see how he reacts in man coverage.
