LSU signee Emery Jones was another standout on the interior at Under Armour. Jones worked at right guard and had a nice week, showing a strong base in 1-on-1’s to go with getting a push as a run blocker in 11-on-11 situations.
Emery Jones brings a lot to the table as a talented offensive lineman, but LSU coach Brian Kelly said it's his athleticism – the ability to pull and add different elements into the run game – that stands out to him. "With him out there, we became a team that can pull the guard, run some power and do a lot of things that we haven't been able to do in the past," Kelly said. "We’re pulling him, moving him. We’re much more of an inside, outside zone team. We’re pulling him a lot more, we’re moving him. I think that that’s going to just heighten who he is as a football player and give him a chance to really, I think, excel at the national level and in the eyes of NFL scouts."
