Kaleb Jackson earned his first college scholarship before playing a varsity snap. Jackson racked up 907 yards and 12 touchdowns in his sophomore season while Baton Rouge (La.) Liberty Magnet played a sub-varsity schedule. That’s when the college attention started to come in, and it’s not stopped from there. He racked up more than 1,580 yards and more than 23 touchdowns in 2021 and quickly established himself as one of the top recruits in Louisiana. “He can do so many different things and change the football game in so many different ways,” Magnet coach Drey Trosclair told the Baton Rouge Advocate. “Guys like him don’t come around often.” Jackson plans on majoring in engineering in college. His parents are Joe Lavergne and Cherlyn Jackson. He has three siblings.

Kaleb Jackson is a twitchy straight-line runner who is at his best as a one-cut, outside runner. His physical traits and running style remind us of Knile Davis.

Not enough on film yet to project a level. Add more game film and verified measurables to unlock a full projection.

A developmental projection today — keep adding film, measurables, and reps, and your evaluation grows with your game.

D-III / Dev

Scholarship-caliber traits for Division II and NAIA programs, with room to climb through continued development.

D-II / NAIA

Starter-caliber traits for a Power 4 program (SEC, Big Ten, Big 12, ACC). Squarely on major-conference radars.

Power 4

Blue-chip traits — a high-priority Power 4 target with the tools to contribute early at the highest level.

Blue Chip

The top of the scale — national-caliber talent that every major program pursues, with a clear NFL trajectory.

Elite / Top 100

Explosive outside and one-cut runner who rips off long runs with regularity. Has a prototypical running back frame with a muscular build at around 5-foot-11, 200 pounds. A strong track athlete who regularly runs sub 11.0 seconds in the 100 meters. That long speed shows up on the field in spades. Has excellent play speed and burst. Explodes past the line of scrimmage and regularly pulls away from defenders at the second level. At his best when he can use his speed to get to the edge or make one cut and get north-south. Though he does not play top competition, registers as one of the more productive and efficient runners in the 2023 cycle. Rushed for 2,034 yards and 29 touchdowns while averaging 14.7 yards per attempt as a junior. Also a good receiver out of the backfield with 4 receiving touchdowns in 2021. More of a straight-line runner. Has some hip stiffness and lacks fluidity with his lateral agility.
