2023 QB Jackson Arnold commits to Oklahoma
Four-star quarterback Jackson Arnold of Denton, Texas has officially committed to Oklahoma, he tells On3.
The 6-foot-1, 187 pounder chose the Sooners over Notre Dame, Ole Miss, and others.
Atmosphere and relationships with Oklahoma staff stood out to Jackson Arnold
“Honestly I just loved the campus and environment,” Arnold said. “Also, I’ve been in contact with Coach (Jeff) Lebby for almost a year now. So I already had a really strong relationship with him.”
“He’s always been good to me and my family,” Arnold said. “Both of our offenses are very similar which is a good fit. And most of the OU staff I recently met, but I loved all of them.”

Arnold is the 3rd prospect to commit to Oklahoma in the 2023 class. He joins four-star wide receiver DeAndre Moore Jr. and interior offensive lineman Joshua Bates. The Sooners class ranks Top 5 in the Big-12.
He ranks as the No. 92 player in the On3 Consensus Rankings, which is an industry generated average that accounts for all four major recruiting services. Arnold comes in at the No. 7 quarterback in the 2023 class, and the 15th best player in Texas.
