3-star PF Dezmon Briscoe commits to Iowa

Dezmon Briscoe, a three-star power forward in the 2025 class, tells On3 he’s committed to Iowa.
The 6-foot-8 senior out of Crispus Attucks High in Indianapolis chose the Hawkeyes over a top schools that included DePaul, Xavier, Duquesne, Butler, and Cincinnati.
Briscoe is the No. 201 overall recruit in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Rankings. He’s also the No. 48 power forward prospect and the No. 9 player in Indiana. The On3 Industry Ranking is a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

Briscoe on his commitment
Dezmon Briscoe discussed his decision to choose Iowa with On3.
“I chose Iowa because of the relationship with me and coach Fran. He believes in me and I believe in the coaching staff and I think they will get me where I need to be at. Coach Fran and Coach Dillard have been recruiting me the longest and they see me fitting in their system.”
In his own words, what type of player is Iowa getting in Dezmon Briscoe?
“A face up four that can play inside and outside. I can shoot the three, I can finishes with both hands, I’m a great passer. Glass eater on both sides. Shot blocker and great teammate.”
He has a message for Iowa fans.
