4-star LB Nathaniel Owusu-Boateng narrows list to six schools

Manassas (Va.) native and IMG Academy senior Nathaniel Owusu-Boateng is down to six schools, he told On3’s Hayes Fawcett today.
Owusu-Boateng, a four-star linebacker in the 2025 class, is deciding between Michigan, Ohio State, Notre Dame, Florida, USC and Texas.
This summer, he took official visits to Los Angeles, South Bend, Columbus and Ann Arbor. He was at Florida’s season-opening game against Miami and said in July that he was planning to take an OV to Gainesville during the season. Notre Dame was the school his brother attended prior to the NFL.
“My plan was to always take my time and not rush anything, so I will continue to talk to these schools and figure out where is best for me,” he said in an interview earlier this summer. “This is not a short-term decision, it is a long-term decision, so I will take all the time I need.
“When I commit, my recruitment is shut down. I am a man of my word, so this decision is very important to me. I want to commit and not look back.”

In that interview, Owusu-Boateng added that his decision could come between late fall and National Signing Day on Dec. 4.
“My top three things are education, life after football and relationships. It is a tight race with my top schools and I could go to any of the … schools on my list. The fall will be important to me.”
Owusu-Boateng is the nation’s No. 84 overall prospect, No. 6 linebacker and No. 13 recruit from Florida in the 2025 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking — a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
