4-star DL Brandon Davis-Swain announces top 11 schools
West Bloomfield (Mich.) four-star defensive lineman Brandon Davis-Swain announced his top 11 schools on Monday night. They are Purdue, Penn State, Michigan, Colorado, Pittsburgh, Tennessee, Auburn, Notre Dame, Wisconsin, Kentucky and USC.
Davis-Swain is the No. 70 overall prospect and No. 9 defensive lineman in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 4 player in Michigan.
The 6-foot-2.5, 240-pound defender was previously committed to the Fighting Irish. He backed off his pledge to head coach Marcus Freeman and his staff on Dec. 11.
In the fall, Davis-Swain visited Michigan, Notre Dame and USC. He also took an unofficial visit to Colorado on the weekend of Jan. 28.

“It’s for sure going to make one of my top schools,” Davis-Swain told On3’s Chad Simmons about Colorado. “We’re for sure going to go back and visit again.”
“I liked it,” he added. “I saw some of the mountains when I was down there. It was very cool.”
Davis-Swain has an On3 NIL Valuation of $59K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
