Ohio DL Drayden Pavey picks Purdue
Cincinnati (Ohio) Taft defensive lineman Drayden Pavey announced his commitment to Purdue on Tuesday. He chose the Boilermakers over his other finalists in Indiana and Wisconsin.
The 6-foot-3, 305-pound Pavey becomes commit No. 10 for head coach Ryan Walters and the Boilers staff.
“Literally the coaching atmosphere,” Pavey said. “The drive to wanna be great and not worry about the statistics of the game. Treating me as a human-being first and player second. And seeing how great the program will be, I wanna be a part of Coach Walter’s vision”

Pavey added “being able to come in and play early,” also made the Boilermakers exciting.
On3 ranks Pavey as the No. 47 defensive lineman in the country. He has spoken highly about Purdue much of his process.
“The whole coaching staff,” he said in May. “Literally especially cause (Brick) Haley and Preston (Gordon). They show me that I’m the guy.”
