Four-star C Josh Irving commits to Texas A&M
Josh Irving, a four-star center in the 2026 class, has committed to Texas A&M, he told Rivals.
The 6-foot-11 senior out of Pasadena High School (CA) chose the Aggies over Louisville and Kentucky, but also received offers from Kansas, SMU, San Diego State, USC, and others.
According to Rivals’ Top-150 Player Rankings, Irving is ranked as the No. 40 overall prospect in the 2026 class. He’s also the No. 6 ranked center and the No. 9 overall player in California.
Rivals’ National Recruiting Analyst Jamie Shaw evaluated Irving this summer and had this to say about him:

“Josh Irving has a lot of upside with his game, and is someone who seems to improve with each viewing we have. Standing in the 6-foot-11 range, Irving is a fluid athlete with excellent length. His stock continues to steadily rise.
“He is young for his grade, carrying a May 2008 birthday. But his athletic fluidity, at his height, is simply something you cannot teach. Almost a 7-footer, Irving is someone who adds something new each time you see him. Right now, the Pasadena native is like a ball of clay and he is being molded in front of our eyes. What he is in two years, could be completely different than what he is now.”
