“I was really excited,” Webb said in the interview. “Coach Harbough called me and got to get to know me a little bit better. He offered me from there. It’s a dream come true. He has a good history and resume in the NFL. Just him seeing my talents and being willing to take a chance on me really meant a lot to me…I guess it would mean he really wants me, I guess. For him to take the initiative and time out of his day to offer me (was big).”
Webb is also high on what Louisville is building.
“The city of Louisville is amazing,” Webb said in November. “Coach (Scott) Satterfield is taking Louisville in the right direction as well as changing the environment in the locker room. He’s been there a few years and you can notice the difference…I know Louisville is a big town with a lot of corporations. I feel like Louisville could take it to the next level and give me a chance to strive in my career.”
