2027 OT Louis Esposito commits to Michigan: "People make the place!"
Saline (Mich.) High 2027 offensive tackle prospect Louis Esposito has committed to Michigan.
The 6-foot-5, 270-pound Esposito chose to play for head coach Sherrone Moore and the Wolverines over early opportunities from Purdue, Pittsburgh and Louisville.
Moore’s father Lou is the defensive line coach in Ann Arbor.
“Obviously the academics,” the younger Esposito stated. “School comes first. When it comes to those academics, I think Michigan has some of the best in the country.”
Michigan offered Esposito after having him in camp in June. They were going to be tough to beat from that point on.
“I’ve developed a great bond with the coaches,” Esposito said. “The atmosphere is like no other. The fans are very into it.

“People make the place and I think Michigan has one of the best places in the country.”
Esposito is the first commit for Moore and the Wolverines in the 2027 class. He looks forward to be part of a group that competes against his dad’s unit in practice.
“I think it’s going to be sweet,” Esposito said. “Having that type of connection with the program already is huge.”
Michigan checked all the boxes for Esposito.
“It’s a great place,” he said. “I’m excited. And they develop o-linemen really well.
“I’m ready to get to work. They’ve developed good offensive linemen for a long time and I’m ready to be the next one.”
