Mizzou lands commitment from prized JUCO DL DeMarcus Johnson
Rivals No. 2 ranked JUCO prospect in defensive lineman DeMarcus Johnson has committed to Missouri.
The 6-foot-8, 280-pound Johnson chose the Tigers over offers from LSU, Mississippi State and West Virginia.
“It’s the perfect place for me to stay locked in and show the world what I can do,” Johnson told Rivals.

Missouri edge rushers coach Brian Early was the lead recruiter for Johnson.
“Coach Early is a big part of me committing,” Johnson said. “He’s been in my corner ever since high school.”
Johnson played his high school football at Missouri City (Texas) Fort Bend Marshall. He becomes commit No. 11 for head coach Eli Drinkwitz and his staff in the 2026 staff.
