Olu Fashanu

Olumuyiwa Fashanu prides himself on doing the little things right. From the football field to the weight room, to extra training to the classroom, Fashanu said he strived to be the best he could be. And that paid off with a stellar college career at Penn State. "You talk to the academic people about him, they love him," Penn State coach James Franklin said about Fashanu. "He’s done everything right since he stepped on campus. You talk to strength and conditioning, the trainers, and equipment staff, just Olu is one of those guys. He just goes about his business. He does everything the right way; extremely focused. He's also a heck of a football player." During the 2023 season at Penn State, Fashanu was named the Rimington-Pace Big Ten Offensive Lineman of the Year and earned first-team All-Big Ten honors from the coaches and media. He also was Penn State's 44th consensus All-American and the first offensive lineman to be named a consensus All-American since 1995.
