Troy Franklin was the second-ranked prospect coming out of Menlo-Atherton (California) High in the Class of 2021. He played in 14 games as a true freshman for the Ducks, catching 18 passes for 209 yards and two touchdowns. He had a breakout performance during his sophomore season by leading Oregon with 61 receptions for 891 yards and nine touchdowns. The nine receiving touchdowns tied for the Pac-12 lead and was 10th all time in Oregon history. The success in 2022 helped Franklin earn All-Pac-12 honors and preseason All-America mentions entering 2023. Franklin continue to excel in 2023 with 100-yard performances in eight of the Ducks' first 12 games.
