Oregon State WBB Bracketology 2/3
With the Oregon State women’s basketball team (17-6, 9-1 WCC) sitting atop the WCC Conference with eight games remaining in the regular season, BeaversEdge takes a closer look at the latest Bracketology to see where the Beavers are projected to be in the postseason.
Oregon State is back in action on Thursday this week, for a pivotal matchup with Gonzaga in Spokane, followed by a road matchup on the bluff at Portland on Saturday.

Oregon State – 12 Seed – Knoxville Regional
In Charlie Creme’s latest bracketology, Scott Rueck’s Beavers are firmly in the NCAA Tournament field, currently slated to be a 12 seed in the Knoxville Regional with fourth-seeded Tennessee hosting. The Beavers would be matched up with five-seed West Virginia in this projection.
However, it is worth noting that, currently, the WCC is a one-bid conference with no other team currently in the projected field, so the importance of winning the conference tournament is paramount.
CBS
In the CBS Sports NCAA Tournament Projection, Oregon State is also in the field as a 12-seed. Like the ESPN projection, the WCC has just one team, the automatic qualifier, projected in the field.
