2026 QB Devin Mignery commits to Stanford

On Sunday, 2026 quarterback Devin Mignery out of Cardinal Mooney High School in Sarasota, Florida committed Stanford. He visited for the game against Boston College and was offered on the visit, committing on the spot. Mignery was also visiting with his sister Madi Mignery, who is a 4-star recruit and a key target for the Stanford women’s basketball program.
Listed at 6’0”, 215 pounds, Mignery has a good body on him. He’s a Tim Tebow style of quarterback. He has similar throwing mechanics and puts good zip on the ball. On top of that, he also runs the ball extremely well and is able to run through guys, knocking linebackers down and trucking guys for first downs and beyond. He has a good nose for the end zone when he’s running and plays with a tremendous motor.
While his running stands out more than his throwing, Mignery still is capable of making the deep throws with accuracy and hitting guys in stride. He’s a true dual threat quarterback that can beat you with his legs and with his arm.
While he isn’t the highest rated guy out there, you never know what guys will bring to the team until they get on campus. So while he projects to be more of a depth addition, his running abilities make me think he’s guy who we could see on the field in certain packages. It’ll be fun to see what he brings to The Farm and whether or not his commitment will have any impact on his sister.
