Wake Forest’s football program still isn’t finished adding to its transfer portal haul.

The program announced Monday night that Elijah Potts (Tulsa) and Eric Williams (Toledo) have signed with the Deacons.

Both players were reserves with their former teams and project as special teams/depth additions with the Deacons.

Potts is a 5-10, 190-pound receiver with one season of eligibility remaining. He has appeared on almost 200 special teams snaps in the past two seasons (per Pro Football Focus). Last season, that included a 32-yard kickoff return against Army and four tackles.

Potts does not have a catch in his career.

Williams played 118 special teams snaps last season and had a grade of 90.3 for them (PFF). The highlight among those was a 19-yard touchdown on a blocked punt against Kent State. He also had two tackles.

The 5-11, 193-pound Williams has two seasons of eligibility remaining. He’s played six defensive snaps in his career.
