Around the SEC: Week 3

For those of you who didn’t feel like watching 11 other conference games after Mizzou ran through Louisiana, here is a glance around the rest of the SEC slate.
I’m using the AP rankings and they are from before Sunday’s update.
Vanderbilt 31, No. 11 South Carolina 7
We’re starting where the SEC slate finished last night, in South Carolina.
Diego Pavia gave Vanderbilt the lead early with an 18-yard touchdown pass to Sederick Alexander, but Rahsul Faison answered for the Gamecocks with a 7-yard touchdown to tie late in the first quarter.
But that was it for South Carolina.

But, most importantly for Mizzou fans, LaNorris Sellers exited the game with a concussion after completing 6-of-7 passes for 94 yards and an interception. It is unknown if Sellers will play next week. Though South Carolina coach Shane Beamer did tell media Sunday that he is “Optimistic” on Sellers’ injury.
Luke Doty came in and completed 18-of-27 passes for 148 yards and an interception.
Also, South Carolina defensive end Dylan Stewart was ejected for unsportsmanlike conduct. In Beamer’s Sunday press conference, he said the SEC contacted him and told him Stewart is good to go for the full game next week.
