Bryce Henderson Adjusts to Vanderbilt with Size, Experience, and Perspective
I spoke with Bryce Henderson, Vanderbilt’s new strong tackle, who is a towering presence with a friendly demeanor (as long as you are not an opposing defender). Listed at 6-foot-8 but officially measuring just over 6-foot-7 (does not make a lick of difference), Henderson described what the transition from South Dakota to Nashville has been like. Henderson also reflected on his athletic background, including his time as a first baseman in high school baseball. He also discussed the distinctions between switch tackles and traditional tackles, while noting his early experience working with offensive line coach Chris Klenakis and coach Jerry Kill.
