Alabama saw several of its players, including star freshman Brandon Miller, land postseason awards on Monday. The first-year forward was named the Southeastern Conference Player of the Year and Freshman of the Year after averaging 19.6 points and 8.0 rebounds during the regular season.

Veteran guard Jahvon Quinerly was also awarded Co-Sixth Man of the Year.

Transfer Mark Sears earned All-SEC Second Team while big man Charles Bediako was named to the SEC All-Defensive Team. In addition, forward Noah Clowney and guard Jaden Bradley both joined Miller on the SEC All-Freshman Team. That’s a total of six players earning postseason awards, which is the most in school history.

I mean, that’s almost half of the scholarship players.
