Alabama OL target William Sanders recently got a big rankings bump

William Sanders’ stock has skyrocketed this summer.

Along with receiving those aforementioned offers, Sanders made a big jump in the recent 2024 On300 rankings update. Sanders went from unranked to the No. 111 overall prospect in the country. He’s now the No. 4 interior offensive lineman and the ninth-ranked player in Alabama in his class.

Landing Sanders would be another massive pickup for o-line coach Eric Wolford. Wolford and Company have already earned commitments from fellow 2024 interior offensive linemen Casey Poe and Joseph Ionata over the past few weeks.

Sanders had been on the Tide’s radar long before he was offered after camping last month.

“Alabama was straightforward with me the whole time,” Sanders recently told BOL’s Andrew Bone. ”They have always shot me straight. Coach Wolf told me to gain weight. They really liked my film, but wanted to see how well my feet move in pass pro.

“It seems like I impressed them with Coach Saban giving me the offer after camp. Coach Wolf seems to have my best interest at heart whenever we talk and communicate. He has told me that he truly feels Alabama is the best place for me; a place where I can grow and accomplish goals for myself.”

As of publishing this article, Alabama is viewed as the leader for Sanders, per the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine. According to the RPM, Bama has a 94.5 percent chance of landing the 6-foot-3, 295-pound prospect.

The Crimson Tide currently have the No. 3 class on the 2024 On3 Industry Ranking Football Team Recruiting Rankings. Alabama jumped the Florida Gators in the rankings following Caleb Odom‘s commitment last Saturday.
