Postseason honors continue to roll in for several Alabama signees. Rivals released its National High School All-American team on Christmas Eve, with four Crimson Tide signees earning a spot on the list, including three First-Team selections. A handful of 2027 targets were also recognized, including several who currently have Alabama positioned as the frontrunner in their recruitment.

Below is what Rivals national high school reporter Andy Villamarzo shared regarding the Tide signees who earned a spot on the list.

First-Team All-Americans:

QB: Jett Thomalla, Millard South (Neb.)

In leading his squad through a historic 2025 Nebraska high school football history, capping it with a dominating 49-0 victory in the NSAA Class A state championship game against Papillion-La Vista South, there was probably little doubt about Jett Thomalla greatness. The Alabama signee finishes his Nebraska high school football career having completed 193 of 266 (73 percent) passes for 3,484 yards and 61 touchdowns for his senior campaign.

RB: Ezavier Crowell, Jackson (Ala.)
Crowell this past season for the now 2-time Alabama Class 4A state champions ended up rushing for 2,632 yards (12.6 yards per carry) on just 209 carries and has scored 35 times. The running back’s best performance might’ve arguably been his last one against Anniston in a 52-0 victory as Crowell rushed for 308 yards on 25 touches and found the endzone five times at Protective Stadium to end his high school football career.

S: Jireh Edwards, St. Frances Academy (Md.)
Having another St. Frances Academy defender on this list speaks to the kind of special talent that Panthers possessed on that side of the ball. Edwards was the ball hawk all season long on the back end for a St. Frances Academy defense that only allowed 87 points through 10 games playing one of the toughest schedules in the country.

Second Team All-American:

LB: Xavier Griffin, Gainesville (Ga.)

BOL says: Griffin moved from playing on the Edge to inside linebacker for his senior season. He accounted for 109 tackles, 12 tackles for loss, four sacks, 18 quarterback hurries, and one interception. He recorded 13 tackles in the Class 5A state championship game earlier this week in a loss to Thomas County Central, following a semifinal performance with 18 tackles against Rome.

Quick notes: Hiller and Haven each have the Crimson Tide at the top of their list heading into the new year. Haven is expected to announce a decision sometime in January, though a date has not been finalized. Simien and Henderson visited Alabama this fall. Both consider UA on the early short list of top contenders in their recruitment. Decisions are not expected any time soon. Henry, who played alongside Tide signee Jireh Edwards, in the secondary, visited Tuscaloosa for the first time this fall before his commitment to the Aggies. He is expected to continue taking visits this upcoming year with an expected return to Alabama.
