The Associated Press revealed its 2023 All-America team on Monday, and Alabama landed six players on the postseason list, including a nation-leading three first-team selections.

Defensive backs Terrion Arnold and Kool-Aid McKinstry and linebacker Dallas Turner were each named to the AP’s first team, while offensive tackle JC Latham and defensive back Caleb Downs and earned second-team recognition and kicker Will Reichard got a third-team nod.

The AP is one of five outlets that determine consensus All-American status, along with the American Football Coaches Association, Football Writers Association of America, Sporting News and Walter Camp. If three of the above organizations select a player to their first team, then he earns consensus honors. If a player is named by all five, he is a unanimous selection.

Because no player was recognized as a first-team All-American by the Walter Camp Football Foundation, Alabama will not have a unanimous All-American for the first time since 2019.

FWAA: Dallas Turner (1st), JC Latham (2nd)
