Duce Robinson and Ellis Robinson impact Georgia signing day in different ways

Duce Robinson and Ellis Robinson didn’t sign a thing for Georgia football on National Signing Day. One still may this cycle.

One can’t sign for 10 months at the soonest.

Still, the unrelated Robinson duo were all the buzz of Georgia’s second signing day.

We dove deep into these potential / current Dawgs commits on The Georgia Show.

Duce Robinson decided not to sign with Georgia – or anyone, for that matter – on National Signing Day.

While that isn’t the best news if you’re a Georgia fan, it could definitely be much worse, according to DawgsHQ recruiting expert, Jake Reuse.

It isn’t quite MLB tampering. But Major League Baseball appears to be the biggest threat to this big tight end target in the 2023 class.

Ellis Robinson continues the standard in Georgia’s secondary, and the Dawgs surge forward in the rankings

Ellis Robinson IV is in the 2024 class, hence his lack of a signature on Signing Day.

Still, his impact at Georgia should be immediate if the Dawgs hang on to his commitment until the 2024 signing period.

Robinson is a special five-star talent.

He certainly stands out on film, and while he should be special in Athens, there’s no mistake about the talent Kirby Smart‘s staff wants to assemble.

Robinson can be yet another wide-wingspan, athletic anomaly in a Georgia secondary that has a lot of similar players.

His commitment is worth celebrating if you’re a Georgia fan.

Even more exciting is the fact that this is just how many of the Dawgs defensive backs look. That’s tough news for Georgia’s opponents for the foreseeable future.

The Todd Monken Groundhog Day special

Once again, we have a Todd Monken update for you on The Georgia Show.

We talk about him a lot these days, but it’s not because we ran out of topics.

Most recently, we have the update that Chris Mortensen told Buck Belue that he expects Tampa Bay to offer Monken its offensive coordinator job, and he’ll be surprised if he doesn’t take it.

We’re hearing the opposite.

Jake Rowe and Palmer Thombs share their perspective on that, Kenny McIntosh at the Senior Bowl, and we all sharpened the axes to chop some wood as we do each Wednesday.

If you aren’t liking and subscribed to The Georgia Show by now, you are missing out on multiple opportunities to hear our off-the-cuff perspective on Georgia sports each week.

Fix that, and hang out with us the next time we gather – always at 8:30PM ET on Wednesdays and Sundays.
