Projected salaries, bonuses for Georgia players selected in 2024 NFL Draft

The 2024 NFL Draft ended on Saturday with over 250 players hearing their name called. Georgia had eight players selected with two in the first round, three in the second, one in the third, and one each in the fifth and sixth rounds. Those players are set to make significant money playing the game they love and DawgsHQ has a breakdown of their projected rookie contracts per Spotrac.com.

TE Brock Bowers: The two-time Mackey Award-winning playmaker was taken No. 13 overall by the Las Vegas Raiders and the total value of his four-year rookie contract is projected at around $18.1 million with an average annual value of $4.5 million. His signing bonus should be in the neighborhood of $10 million.

OL Amarius Mims: Cincinnati used the No. 18 overall pick to select Mims, giving the Bulldogs five first-round offensive tackles in the Kirby Smart era. The total value of his four-year rookie deal is projected at nearly $15.4 million with a signing bonus of $8.5 million. He’ll make an average of $3.8 million during his rookie term.

WR Ladd McConkey: After shining at the Reese’s Senior Bowl and the 2024 NFL Draft combine, the Los Angeles Chargers chose the Chatsworth native with the second pick of the second round (No. 34 overall). McConkey’s rookie deal should be worth almost $10 million in total. The average annual value is arounf $2.5 million and his signing bonus is projected at just over $4 million.

CB Kamari Lassiter: Houston selected the Savannah, Ga. native in the second round with the No. 42 overall pick. That slot is projected for a rookie deal worth $8.88 million in total with a signing bonus of almost $3.3 million. The AAV of his rookie contract is $2.22 million.

DB Javon Bullard: After two seasons as a starter at Georgia, Bullard will continue his football career in Green Bay after the Packers selected him No. 58 overall. His rookie deal should be worth just south of $6.6 million with an average annual value and signing bonus of approximately $1.6 million.

DB Tykee Smith: Tampa Bay chose Smith in the third round (No. 89 overall) and that should result in a rookie contract worth almost $5.7 million. The average annual value should be in the $1.4 million range with a signing bonus just south of $1 million.

C Sedrick Van Pran-Granger: The three-year starter at Georgia will continue his football career in Buffalo after the Bills took him in the fifth round. His rookie deal will be worth over $4.3 million with a signing bonus of $352,000 and an AAV of $1.1 million.

DL Zion Logue: Atlanta selected Logue in the sixth round (197th overall) and his rookie contract has a total value of around $4.2 million. The AAV comes out to just over $1 million per year and he’ll get a signing bonus of around $182,000.
