Sedrick Van Pran Made his decision. What about Todd Monken? We called an emergency session of The Georgia Show to break it all down.

If you don’t subscribe to DawgsHQ (our current promo is hard to top), this live stream gives you a preview of our premium thoughts on this special Dawg.

With Sedrick Van Pran back in the fold, Georgia returns a two-time National Championship starter at center.

More than that, the Dawgs have a proven leader and a cool, old soul who can dial up the flames when needed.

It’s been a hard week for Georgia in a lot of ways that I don’t need to re-hash here.

When it comes to next year’s football team, this is some of the best possible news any Dawg could hear going into the weekend.

Now that Van Pran is in the fold, what’s the deal with Todd Monken?

Yes, the importance of Sedrick Van Pran’s return is impossible to overstate.

But what about the dude who calls his plays?

Back-to-back National Championship seasons with a former walk-on at quarterback should garner Todd Monken some much-deserved attention.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers just parted ways with offensive coordinator Byron Leftwich. There is already plenty of smoke that the Bucs may contact Monken in an attempt to lure him back to the Bay.

As of now, we aren’t hearing anything about Monken’s future taking him away from Athens.

A rolling Monken gathers no moss. He likes to move, as is evident when you look at his resumé. He’s never been an offensive coordinator anywhere for more than three seasons.

Still, there’s a lot to like at Georgia. And Todd Monken likes to win.

This return, paired with Van Pran’s, would be legendary.

Latest Georgia roster developments

Don’t miss the latest developments on Georgia’s other recent roster developments from the end of this week.

You already know about AD Mitchell

But Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint‘s return should make you feel better about Georgia’s wide receiver depth.

Same with defensive lineman Tramel Walthour.

Probably not a surprise here, given his Reese’s Senior Bowl commitment, but kicker Jack Podlesny announced he will head to the pros.

This transfer portal timeline is nuts this time of year, in addition to Georgia’s NFL Draft decisions.

But when it’s all coming together this late, that means you’re team’s been playing late into the season.

As busy as it keeps Kirby Smart and company, they’ll gladly take it each year.
