“What made up my mind was how welcoming everyone here at Iowa was to me,” said Worrell. “It felt like family from the get go. I was very impressed with the coaching staff as well as my new teammates. I love how this team emphasizes special teams and its great tradition.”
A Virginia native, Worrell began his college career at Old Dominion, then spent two years playing for Division II Emory & Henry College, and one year at Boston College, where he played in all 13 games in 2024, recording three tackles and a fumble recovery.
Worrell has one year of eligibility remaining.
