DT Kingston Hall discusses Kansas State commitment

Kansas State had a busy weekend on the recruiting trail. The first of the official visitors last weekend to make their college choice was Oklahoma defensive tackle Kingston Hall.
Hall has been a long-time target of Kansas State before picking the Wildcats on June 14.
“It just felt right, the coaches made me feel like I was home, and I really liked K-State,” Hall began.
The moment he committed was a special moment for the junior defensive tackle.
“Man, it felt like a breath of fresh air. My recruitment picked up so fast, so committing to K-State really made the moment wonderful,” he shared. “They were super excited. Every coach that I talked to was excited to congratulate me.”
Hall’s official visit checked all the boxes he was looking for.
“It was great,” he said. “I’ve been up to visit a good amount of times so I really didn’t see anything new but the visit was amazing.”
Kansas State defensive linemen Jordan Allen and Holden Bass were Hall’s hosts for the weekend and they all hit it off.

“My favorite part of the visit was sitting down with the players and eating and talking with them,” he pointed out.
K-State defensive tackles coach Mike Tuiasosopo‘s relationship with the junior defensive tackle made a major impact in his college decision.
“He came and visited me a lot and we have talked on the phone a good amount so it only felt right,” he opined. “[Being around him this weekend] was great. You could just tell it meant a lot to him and my family.”
Not only have the Wildcat coaching staff been recruiting Hall hard, but fellow Oklahoma native and Kansas State commit DJ Ackerson has also been recruiting him hard as well.
“Ackerson was super excited and happy for me,” he said.
K-State has a plan for how they see Hall fitting into their defensive scheme.
“Their plan is for me to play from a 5 all the way down to a 3 tech,” he concluded.
