With the 2026 Kansas State class almost wrapped up, most of the prospects from the current cycle that visit Manhattan this season will be those already committed to the Wildcats. It’s a chance for them to see a game day at K-State if they haven’t already.

The game versus North Dakota had two commits in town – Lawson McGraw and Hannibal Navies. This past weekend’s game versus Army had four K-State commits in Manhattan – running back Tanner West, offensive lineman Keegan Collins, quarterback Miles Teodecki and defensive tackle Kingston Hall.

Collins will likely be a mainstay on campus for games in 2025. He already visited for the Army contest and is planning on being in attendance for the TCU game in October and the Texas Tech matchup in November.

Despite the Kansas State loss to Army, Collins enjoyed being back and around the staff.

“It was great,” he said. “I had a great time meeting with coaches. I was super glad I got to see Coach [Brian] Lepak and [Drew] Liddle. It’s a great place to call home.”

A few moments in particular stood out to the Amarillo, Texas native.

“Getting to watch film with Coach Lepak and the game of course,” Collins answered. “Watching film with Lepak is amazing. He just truly knows the game better then anyone I have ever met. I get a full understanding of how he thinks. He tries to get into my head every time I watch film with him.”

Collins is also getting closer with the other K-State commits in the 2026 class.

“Our relationship is really good,” he shared. “We’re getting closer every time we see each other. I’m closest with Justin Morales for sure and Olly [Oliver Miller]. Me and Justin talk a lot and always send each other TikToks. And then me and Olly talk, and we are similar people so we just get along really well.”

Collins is planning on enrolling early at Kansas State in January.
