Mark Pope brings full Kentucky staff with him to NBPA Top 100 Camp
We’re quickly moving through the 2025 Kentucky Sports Summer Calendar, knocking out SEC Spring Meetings, the Bat Cats in the NCAA Tournament and the draft withdrawal deadline in May. June has already seen the Pangos All-American Camp and basketball move-in come and go, along with the start of camp season — plus the football bomb dropped in Lexington with Vince Marrow leaving for Louisville. Next up? NBPA Top 100 Camp, college coaches flocking to Rock Hill to check out some of the best talent high school basketball has to offer.
Among those coaches? Not just Mark Pope, but the entire Kentucky basketball staff, with Alvin Brooks III, Cody Fueger and Jason Hart joining Pope courtside at the Rock Hill Sports and Events Center starting June 11 with the event lasting through Friday, June 13. Things got started Tuesday, June 9 with drills and skill work, followed by games today and tomorrow — coaches able to attend both days — before things wrap up Friday with the championship and all-star games.

We’ll be monitoring the Kentucky staff’s movement over the next couple of days in Rock Hill — and don’t expect it to slow down from there. Why? USA Basketball U19 Training Camp is coming immediately after in Colorado Springs with Pope coaching in the event from June 15-22. He’ll be joined by Jasper Johnson and Malachi Moreno among current Wildcats, along with other major ’26 targets such as Tyran Stokes, Jordan Smith Jr., Christian Collins, Jason Crowe Jr., Caleb Holt, Brandon McCoy Jr., Tajh Ariza, Tay Kinney and Deron Rippey Jr. also in attendance.
Big-time basketball recruiting is here, folks. Stay tuned.
