WATCH: Davhon Keys dominates in State Championship win

2024 Aledo (Tex.) linebacker and LSU commit Davhon Keys went out a state champion as the Bearcats captured the Texas 5A Division I State Championship on Friday. Spotting Smithson Valley an early 8-0 lead, Aledo ripped off 51 unanswered to win, 51-8.
Check out the clips of the four-star LSU commit in action at the top. Keys is set to sign with the Tigers this week during the early signing period before enrolling early.
Keys finished with 12 tackles, two tackles for loss and a sack in the game. He took home Defensive MVP honors with his performance. The push for another state title for Aledo started all the way back in the summer and once again, the Bearcats came out champions.
Keys went out with back-to-back state championships, which took a group effort from everyone for the Bearcats.
“It was a great feeling. Worked for it as a whole team. I’m just so proud of these guys,” Keys said. “Won it with a whole bunch of guys from scout team to offense to defense to even the managers. They all did a great job in helping out.”
