McClary Recruitment

McClary released a Top 8 of Michigan, Ohio State, Oregon, Penn State, Rutgers, South Carolina, Tennessee and USC over the summer.

Michigan has yet to host McClary for an unofficial visit, but he is planning to make his way to Ann Arbor at some point this fall. Michigan linebackers coach Chris Partridge, who has strong ties in New Jersey, has been recruiting McClary since he was in middle school and is making him a top priority for next cycle.

At 6-foot-1, 210 pounds, McClary is ranked as the No. 10 linebacker and No. 110 overall prospect in the country, per the On3 Industry Rankings. He is also ranked as the No. 3 overall recruit in the state of New Jersey for next cycle.

Penn State currently has the lead for McClary on the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine with a 94.0 percent chance of landing him. Rutgers is in second place with a 2.7 percent chance of landing him.

Michigan currently has three commitments in its 2025 recruiting class — Top 100 Miami (Fla.) Chaminade-Madonna defensive back Chris Ewald, four-star Howell (Mich.) High defensive lineman Bobby Kanka and three-star Buford (Ga.) High linebacker Mantrez Walker. The class is ranked No. 7 nationally, per the On3 Industry team recruiting rankings.

On3 NIL Valuation

McClary has an On3 NIL Valuation of $59K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time
