The ACC officially released NC State’s 2024 football schedule Wednesday evening. While the opponents were already known, the Wolfpack now knows the order of its conference gauntlet for the upcoming fall.

NC State, and all other ACC teams, received two bye weeks this year, and the program has two open dates just three weeks apart. The Pack opens its conference schedule with a road showdown with Clemson Sept. 21.

Thanks to a Sept. 7 clash with Tennessee at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, NC State only plays four true road games this year, including trips to Georgia Tech (Nov. 21) and North Carolina (Nov. 30 to end the regular season.

Over the course of a three-day rollout, the ACC announced its week zero and week one games Monday, which included the program’s Thursday, Aug. 29 season-opening clash with Western Carolina. The following day, the conference shared the league’s Thursday and Friday games.

In an addition to the Wolfpack’s week one game against the FCS Catamounts, the team also has a week 13 Thursday night matchup with Georgia Tech, scheduled for Nov. 21.

NC state plays consecutive road games only once, against the Yellow Jackets and the Tar Heels, but plays two home games in a row twice this fall.

The Wolfpack’s first bye week is a week nine open date that follows the program’s first ever trip to Cal as ACC opponents. After home games against Stanford and Duke, NC State has another week off before the final two contests of the regular season.

Here’s the Wolfpack’s full 2024 schedule.
