
<p><a href="https://gopack.com/">NC State’s </a>season-opening tilt against East Carolina is almost here. The Wolfpack is set to clash with the Pirates in front of a sold-out Carter-Finley Stadium crowd on Thursday night in Raleigh, a rematch of last year’s Military Bowl.</p>



<p>Here’s everything you need to know on how to watch, listen or stream the Pack’s first game of the 2025 campaign.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-what-time-does-the-game-start"><strong>What time does the game start?</strong></h2>



<p>NC State vs. ECU begins at 7:00 p.m. ET.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-what-television-channel-is-the-nc-state-game-on"><strong>What television channel is the NC State game on?</strong></h2>



<p>The game will be broadcast on the ACC Network. <strong>Wes Durham </strong>(play-by-play),<strong> Steve Addazio </strong>(analyst) and <strong>Dana Boyle </strong>(sideline) will be on the call.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-where-can-i-find-the-nc-state-game-on-the-radio"><strong>Where can I find the NC State game on the radio?</strong></h2>



<p>While you’re reading <a href="https://www.on3.com/teams/nc-state-wolfpack/">TheWolfpacker.com’s</a> in-game coverage, you can tune in to the game on the radio. NC State vs. ECU will be broadcast on WRAL-FM in Raleigh. Radio pregame coverage begins two hours prior to kickoff with <strong>Matt Chazanow</strong> (play-by-play), <strong>Johnny Evans </strong>(analyst) and <strong>Tony Haynes</strong> (sideline) on the broadcast. </p>

<p>The game can also be streamed on Watch ESPN or the ESPN app. The radio broadcast can be streamed through the GoPack Varsity Network App or on Sirius/XM channel 85.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-nc-state-vs-ecu-game-notes"><strong>NC State vs. ECU game notes</strong></h2>



<p>– This is the 34th all-time meeting between the Pirates and Wolfpack. The Pack holds a 19-14 lead in the all-time series, but the Pirates won the most-recent meeting: a 26-21 win over NC State in the Military Bowl at Navy-Marine Corps Stadium on Dec. 28, 2024. This year’s game will mark the 12th time that these two programs have met to open the season.</p>



<p>– NC State special assistant to the head coach <strong><a href="https://www.on3.com/rivals/coach/ruffin-mcneill-132119/">Ruffin McNeill</a></strong>, a 1980 graduate of ECU, has become a critical part of the Wolfpack staff since he was hired in 2020. The former Pirates head coach is a sounding board for coaches and players, becoming one of the most-loved figures on staff. <p>– The Wolfpack has won 30 of its 32 non-conference home games inside Carter-Finley Stadium since Dave Doeren took over in 2013. NC State lost to ECU 42-28 on Nov. 23, 2013 in the coach’s first season in Raleigh, while the Wolfpack also fell to No. 10 Notre Dame 45-24 in 2023. NC State has won 27 of its last 28 non-conference home games entering the 2025 campaign.</p>
