NC State WR Jackson DeSilva to enter transfer portal
NC State graduate wide receiver Jackson DeSilva became the latest Wolfpack player to announce his intention to enter the transfer portal on Tuesday afternoon.
“I am so blessed to have had the opportunity to continue chasing my dream here at NC State and graduate from a top University in the country, now pursuing my MBA,” DeSilva wrote on X, formerly known at Twitter. “With 2 years of eligibility left I will be looking for another school to give me a chance as a grad transfer.”
DeSilva appeared in one game during his five years on campus with the Wolfpack. He played a pair of snaps in the red and white’s 45-7 win over Furman in Week 3 of the 2021 campaign. Other than that, he did not see the field in a contest.
Before DeSilva played for the Wolfpack. He was a two year player on Rolesville High’s varsity squad. He caught 26 passes for more than 300 yards and a touchdown during his senior season with the Rams.
DeSilva is the fifth NC State wide receiver to enter the transfer portal this offseason. He joins wideouts Anthony Smith, Terrell Timmons Jr., Joshua Crabtree and Chris Scott to depart the Wolfpack. DeSilva has two years of eligibility remaining.
DeSilva is the 23rd NC State player to enter the transfer portal since the regular season concluded. Here is a full list of the Wolfpack players to depart with eligibility remaining in Raleigh.
