Husker fans have been waiting for this: portal transfers. Nebraska is quick here to bring in three of the most sought-after portal transfer recruits, according to On3. Ajani Cornelius is the No. 2 overall transfer portal player at the moment.

The talented OT is in Lincoln now and will be out to Eugene after Lincoln. DL Elijah Jeudy addresses the counterpoint to Cornelius with the need for help on the DL. QB Jeff Sims addresses a major issue of currently unavailable players in the quarterback room.

Malachi Coleman is back into the target side of this preview since his recent decommitment. Cameron Lenhardt is back in the picture for Nebraska and things look strong for both with Nebraska. Two new, in-state targets now with offers to pay attention to with Jaylen Lloyd and Tristan Alvano.

Nebraska may have found an option at tight end with Hayden Moore‘s teammate, Andrew Metzger. The Huskers are also staying after the JUCO recruits with Kai Wallin this weekend who could play OLB or DE. Kwinten Ives is being looked at as a RB recruit despite some seeing him as WR possibly. He is a likely candidate to commit this weekend.

It’s very important for Nebraska to get Jaidyn Doss back up to Lincoln. The Huskers have really improved things with Doss since Rhule was named the head coach. Dylan Rogers has hosted Nebraska a couple of times in Texas now.

Previously, he was keeping the door open pending the head coaching hire, but he seems to be fully in for Nebraska. Maverick Noonan, Gunnar Gottula, Brock Knutson and Sam Sledge were all in Lincoln last Sunday for junior day. The three offensive line commits will have a chance to chat with retained assistant coach Donovan Raiola.
