COLUMBUS — Ohio State just hosted three offensive linemen over the weekend and it still has the trenches on the brain.

Four-star De Kalb (Miss) Kemper County offensive tackle Mario Nash announced his offer from the Buckeyes on Monday. The 6-foot-4.5, 270-pound talent is the No. 287 overall prospect and the No. 22 offensive tackle according to the On3 Industry Rankings.

On3 does not have Nash as an overall ranked prospect, but it does have him as the No. 29 offensive tackle.

Nash announced that Ohio State running backs coach Carlos Locklyn was the one who visited him but called Justin Frye who made the offer.

Nash has over 30 offers including from programs like Florida State, LSU, USC, Oregon and Penn State to name just a few.

His offer is just the latest in a spring frenzy by Frye. Ohio State continues to expand its offensive line board as official visits are on the horizon. The Buckeyes just hosted Jackson Lloyd, Henry Fenuku and Andrew Stargel over the weekend for their debut visits. It is likely that all three will return to Ohio State in June for official visits. Stargel definitely will after locking in his official visit for June 7-9. Lloyd shared with Lettermen Row he will make his official visit likely that same weekend, but it is not set in stone yet.

On3’s Steve Wiltfong placed an RPM prediction on Fenuku to land with Ohio State. A nice surprise pick considering this was Fenuku’s debut visit and Ole Miss has been trending for essentially his entire recruitment.

The Buckeyes are also sitting in a good position for five-star Plus+ Charlotte (N.C.) Providence Day offensive tackle David Sanders. The country’s top-rated offensive tackle visited Ohio State twice this spring and will make an official visit right before the summer dead period begins.
