COLUMBUS – Ohio State caught some momentum on the recruiting trail last week with two Class of 2022 commitments in as many days.

First came high-upside pass rusher Kenyatta Jackson from Florida, and then offensive tackle Avery Henry pledged to the Buckeyes the next day.

Henry is three-star prospect out of St. Clairsville (Ohio) High School and is seen as a developmental player. But Henry has great size already at 6-foot-7, 305 pounds and has a high ceiling as a program player who could make an impact a few years down the road.

On the latest episode of Talking Stuff: The Ohio State Recruiting Podcast from Lettermen Row, Jeremy Birmingham, Zack Carpenter and Andrew Ellis take a closer look at Henry’s potential impact in Columbus and why the Buckeyes decided to take a chance on him.

The crew also gives a scope of where Ohio State still has work to do in offensive line recruiting this cycle. The Buckeyes do not plan to stop at signing just three offensive linemen, so will they be able to pull Earnest Greene from California or Carson Hinzman out of Wisconsin?

Greene and Hinzman both firmly remain on the board ahead of a huge recruiting weekend for the Buckeyes in their matchup with Penn State.

That list includes a loaded group of defensive linemen expected to be on hand, including Caden Curry, Hero Kanu, Christen Miller, Omari Abor, Shemar Stewart and Marvin Jones Jr.

Larry Johnson and the Buckeyes are still seeking to land at least three more at the position to group with Jackson, and it could be a weekend that pays major dividends in that hunt.

At the end, we take a handful of listener questions. Those include topics such as whether or not Ohio State will have any signing day drama from now until mid-December, some of the less-discussed current Buckeyes commits who can make an impact as freshmen and finally some predictions on who will be the next Ohio State commitment in the 2022 class.
